Decree Designation Classification Societies Prevention of Pollution from Ships Act

The State Secretary of Transport, Public Works and Water Management,

Having regard to Directive no. 94/57/EC of the Council of the European Union of 22 November 1994 as regards common requirements and standards for organizations entrusted with the inspection and monitoring of ships and for the relevant duties of maritime bodies (PbEG L319) and to Article 8, third paragraph, of the Prevention of Pollution from Ships Act;

Decides:

Art. 1 [Not yet in force]

The register, as referred to in Article 5 of the Vessels Act 1930 BES shall contain at least the following data:

type, name, building site and dimensions of the vessel;
name and address and telephone number of the owner;
date of registration;
information with regard to the hull;
type, brand and power of the engine;
berth;
letter and number, as referred to in Article 2 of the Vessels Act 1930 BES;
information with regard to the license, as referred to in Article 6 of the Vessels Act 1930 BES.

Art. 2 [Not yet in force]

The Decree of the Minister of Transport, Public Works and Water Management of 16 November 2004, no. HDJZ/SCH/2004-2719, containing authorization organisations and designation duties for the benefit of the Prevention of Pollution from Ships Act (GG 277) is withdrawn.

Art. 3 [Not yet in force]

This Decree will enter into force as from the second day after the date of publication in the Government Gazette.
